I have the barrel two times 2017 and 2018. Also understand the hose could be routed so as to have insufficient support and therefore apply excessive fatigue loading on the heater inlet outlet which would result in a failure, over time. They informed me that it was the fuel pump and it needed to be replaced right away. I like to see out across a big windshield and boy this car is full view thankfully! Temperature effects them and they bow causing severe wind noise inside the vehicle. The new key lock assembly metal cover on the steering column appears to be catching, and shows bending. I have had such a surprisingly great experience with this car though that I'd like to share.
It has all the things that you need including air conditioning, Heat, great radio comfortable seats, cruise control, large back seat, large trunk, it's well-made and easily maintained. I have an 08 Saturn Vue and think that the heater core is bad. I had it replaced after the tow company diagnosed it. Independent repair shops could not fix the problem and even dealership service guy recommended to abandon the car. The instrument panel is easy to read and the seats are comfortable and fully adjustable.
I noticed as I sped up - finally - that the transmission would not shift. The spare tire is in the trunk area under a hatch which I like. Dangerous to drive on highway. We both experienced being stranded at work, in parking lots or while running errands. This seems outrageous since I had the work done to try to prevent this problem. A 2008 recall involved 40,000 models with leaking power steering hoses.
We replaced 3 batteries and that did not fix the problem. After towing the vehicles from repair shops to the dealership, the service dept. The transmission failed twice within 65,000 miles - the first repair was done by a dealer just before the end of the powertrain warranty. She gave me a case and told me to get a reimbursement form from dealership and submit the papers and surely they could do something. Since its first production run, the Saturn Vue has been the subject of several recalls by General Motors. It's definitely the most stylish, the seating the most comfortable and the overall interior the highest looking quality.
So, obviously there was a pressure problem in the system. It had to be jumped in order to clear the dangerous situation. Perhaps what they are replacing for you isn't quite the same thing. Today, that different little brand no longer has plastic body panels, but it still has one of the highest customer-satisfaction ratings when it comes to the car-buying process.
