So this is the big first issue I have had with it basically breaking down on me. This whole time it was the brake switch that was bad. StabiliTrak will turn off automatically if a problem is detected in the system. Has already blown an engine at 37K miles and blown a fuel injector at 38K miles ; both of which left me stranded on highways 50+ miles from home. They have always been great cars with very few issues.

These are not problems we have created due to lack of maintenance, driving, etc. And also will I have to replace the whole Hub bearing assembly just to change the sensor? The sensors, wires and connectors are located at each wheel and live in a hostile environment of potholes, water, snow, dirt, tar, stones, other debris and more, so they take a beating and can fail. She wanted to send me road assistance right away, yes that is her job and I understand. I can't for the life of me recall what those Chrysler sessions were called, but, we always got some trinket every year from Chrysler for attending those training sessions. We stopped for supper on the way home and the battery was dead! Like It used to be.
In any event I don't feel as though I should be the one to pay for the manufactures mistakes in design. They were supposed to be available during the 4th quarter of 2009 but further validation work is needed. Someone, help me with this problem please…. It happens at least five more times during the winter but never had a problem since. Since the stabiltrak light came on my vehicle has a real hard time starting and when it does start it idles rough. Tech comes out and runs diagnostics. I fell off in a hole the other day in 4wd and when I got on it you could hear a pop.
It has 48000 miles, purchase new. This time the problem did not go away when I disconnected the battery. Thank you for your response my truck have been lifted for 3 weeks and I have been using it a lot and everything was perfect; the traction control and stability trac was kicking only if necessary, until I did the alignment. The more complicated things become, the more they are prone to failure. How do I get them to honor the warranty? I only saw the little engine light come up once, blink and go away a few weeks before. I do have oversize tires and a lift on my truck.
So now I will be contacting my insurance company as well. How much money needs to be put out before it can be considered a lemon law?? They said they have to spend more time and I have to leave the car for couple of days. I have over 15 videos of this happening and numerous picturs where they can see the outside temp, miles on the truck and that the truck is running and moving. Within month engine light came on. Now have the car back and yesterday, light came on again at less than 500 miles, in 70 degree weather. My 2015 Camaro is back to driving like a dream! The technicians informed the contact that the diesel reluctant tank assembly would have to be replace. Dealer missed a bulletin to fix brake position sensor.
I don't think my friend 2017 Silverado or me 2018 Silverado both with factory navigation are hearing things but maybe we are! After researching online I see several complaints with several possible causes all requiring multiple trips to the dealer to find out. And for about 2-3 weeks it's been coming on and off but staying more on and not going away now. Will not recommend Acadia no more and I loved this Vehicle so much til this. Piss poor response for a person without their car to not have a loaner. I have 64000 miles on this vehicle and feel like factory warranty should cover it. I didn¿T think this was a serious safety issue because it did not happen at high speed.
Which leads me to beleive that the butterfly is freezing and causes it to stick. When I attempted to shift the car in to drive the vehicle lost power and would not start up again. The car was in two dealerships for three weeks. Picked it up and drove home and it died 6miles in…traction control off, service stabilitrac and reduced engine power warnings then immediately lost power…I was driving 55mph! What do I need to do. Wish I had my old one back. I am in no way paying for whatever is going on. When the traction control system has been turned off, system noises may be heard and felt as a result of the brake-traction control working.
Managed to get the vehicle home and then in to the dealership for inspection this morning. Took it into the dealer and they did their thing. The sensors start going off the stability control cuts off it says engine power reduced then doesn't want to shift and kills in middle of traffic. Took it to a small local repair shop where he changed the wheel bearing and said it was an exhaust leak. The rep says it is not part of the power train warranty, said they have no choice but to charge me for it. I am hoping that this fixes my problem permanently and that my posts help the next person, I know your posts helped me.
I still can not get it to start. . Chevrolet needs to do a recall and fix this problem cause no one in my area knows what to do! Anyone else had this happen to them? Toyota may seem to have a lot of recalls but at least they back their product up and take car of their customers. Let me start from the beginning. Shut motor off and now will not start. Hopefully this remedies my problem. They replaced multiple items and it finally came to the service manager telling me the only thing he could recommend was for me to do a delete to the exhaust system.
