So much freaking fun to watch. I love the splendid renovations and the classy decorating. Here is what the house looked like before! It is so unusual because of their family life and great vibes, good ideas and fun times they show. This episode's project is a consortium of caring. Chip takes the boys on this road trip with him. In this episode, Chip and Joanna help Samantha and Matt find their first home together. This is a quality, substantive show on all fronts.
Watching the process of the home transformations is always a joy. Functionality and practicality in this project do not sacrifice aesthetics. If you don't know why there is such a following for Fixer Upper, and the Gaines, do yourself a favor and watch this series. There is nothing better than a village of caring people who contribute to the wellbeing of others. I was happily surprised to learn that Chip and JoJo were going to make a 5th season of Fixer Upper.
As a viewer it really appears that everything the Gaines' set out to do, they accomplish with excellence. Watching their humor while remaining kind to one another is a rare find. The title could have been improved; this project was A Touchdown For A Family. . Congratulations to all who worked on this project and welcomed this family to their new home. After they look at the house and think about it, Matt and Sam decide that this house is the house they want. Are you ready to see it? There is a bedroom right off the main living room that they could rework into an office and add a hallway in to make access to the back of the house easier.
There is no plumbing or electrical and they decide that this might be too big of a project for their first home. My sister and I watch these over and over as therapy. But with two large living rooms, two dining areas, and a brand new sunroom, will they be able to reach the finish line on time? The living room is just going to be painted and the mantle is going to be redone. I have been inspired to try out a few projects and improve our little condo from watching the show. The second home they go to look at is actually a listing that Matt and Sam found themselves.
I also love the fact that they utilize local artisans and entrepreneurs. Thank you for all your hard work and positive outlook. The focus, purpose, generosity, community, and joy evidenced are compelling. I was skeptical until I watched a few episodes. While Chip and the boys are gone, the team continues to get the house finished. Last night we watched the season 5 premiere of , which is also going to be the final season.
We will miss them, but looking forward to watching the rest of this season. I think I found my style, which is cottage and cozy. The outside of the house is going to be power washed and then the trim is going to be a little darker. Uplifting while down to earth. Watching Fixer Upper makes me feel good and inspires me to do more creative projects myself. It will rub off on you in the best possible way.
Would not expect that from a home remodel show. A couple has narrowed down their search to three homes that would work for their family of five. Once they pick their house, Chip and Jo get to work transforming the house into a French country-meets-traditional style retreat. I am disappointed for viewers like myself that this is the last season but am happy for the Gaines family. The grandfather is going to work on those and get them done and when he comes to visit Sam and Matt he is going to bring them with him. . .
