It will ride a lot rougher lowered mine rides like a tank!! I then went to the Kragen place and had the guy look up the specs for stock shocks they have the specs in the back of their books. Fenders have the bolt holes in the original location. A drop shock is for already lowered vehicles that have less suspension travel. I usually cruise at 65 in the right lane down the highway. All lights work as they should. These shocks are drop shocks just not any other shock here. I think my dad said it was a bearing or something and I would have to get a smaller one to stop the noise.
. Air dam is two inches lower than the factory fender. The thing on the left, looking like a traditional hot rod, is actually a Chevy Luv! I received this truck about 2 years ago in non running condition. A drop shock wil not lower a truck, no shock will air shocks will raise but not lower the suspension! Will accept factory headlight and grille parts. Vents can be left closed or open, same price.
They are barley noticeable as they are so I never touched them. I also wanted to know what is the maximum height you can drop the torsion bars? Shocks do not lower vehicles, they are there to keep the ride smooth. The truck has been wet sanded and clear coated to protect the patina of this truck. I will be more than happy to answer. These trucks are nothing like the newer coil spring suspension trucks of today. Although it seems most are low-riders or Pro Street Chevy Luvs.

They body does have some rust as shown but none of it is structural and looks really cool. The truck has great patina and had already been lowered. The clear coat is not prefect has has some runs that could be wet sand and buffed out pretty easily.

My favorite is the exhaust stacks. Duplicate of factory lower valence. This one has so many cool details. I have always thought of what to use to drop my truck with but I have made up my mind on what I want to use. You can put a newer clip under the truck or air bag it My plans but I don't think you want to go through all that work. I will try and describe it to the best of my ability. Blinker work great and run off of a new aftermarket switch on the column. If you tried to put them on a stock height vehicle, they will not reach top and bottom mounts. Has wooden door panels as can be seen in the pictures. Dash is very cracked underneath the dash mat. Carbon valence is duplicate of the factory steel part. You can find the bolt-up in a shorter length. Also, the door seals need replacing. I have never had any issues in the department. If you crank your torsions first and then get the lowered shocks, it will ride a little better than just the stock shocks As for the rear, you will have to get lowering blocks and modify the alignment holes on the axle as they are 2 small for the blocks.
